Wala Wala, LLC is an independent software consulting and service provider founded by Rick Winfrey.
Rick spent nearly a decade at GitHub — contributing to code search, code navigation, Copilot Chat, and Tree-sitter — and was a founding engineer at an early-stage startup. He holds an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford. From large organizations to small teams, he brings deep expertise in AI systems, LLM integrations, distributed systems, and developer tooling to every engagement.
